We are seeking a Senior Associate to work across multiple GCP initiatives, reporting to the Managing Director of Good Capital Project. This position will provide operational support to the business expansion, and partnership building efforts of Good Capital Project.
Candidates should have experience in client services, operations, or project management. Candidates should have interest in the fast-evolving field of impact investing and be curious about the potential for market-driven impact across all sectors of social and environmental change. Strong candidates will have an existing understanding of the landscape of asset owners, asset managers, intermediaries, and philanthropies that are building the social capital markets.
Actively research the fast growing sustainable investing landscape. Synthesize research into strategy and business growth recommendations.
Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure execution of event planning, content development, and other project plans.
Work closely with the Managing Director to develop multi-sector partnerships for the firm.
Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term reports and trends analyses.
Manage operational systems - project management, database management, CRM, event ticketing platforms.
Onboarding new clients, and partners.
Identify opportunities for improvements to current processes and designing improved workflows.
Bachelor’s degree required.
2-5 years’ experience in operations management or client servicing.
Interest in social impact and impact investing.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Results-oriented, attention to detail, and good time management skills.
A generalist with a demonstrated ability to multitask.

We are seeking interns who are currently enrolled in graduate programs to work across Good Capital Project initiatives in programming, partnership building, and marketing roles.
Candidates should have interest in the fast-evolving field of impact investing and be curious about the potential for market-driven impact across all sectors of social and environmental change. Strong candidates should have an understanding of the landscape of asset owners, asset managers, intermediaries, and philanthropies that are building the social capital markets. While a background in finance is not required, a knowledge and familiarity with financial terms and markets is preferable.
Internship positions will be filled on an ongoing basis so interested students are encouraged to apply for these roles at the earliest.
Marketing & Communications Interns
Email marketing and social media are critical components of Good Capital Project’s marketing. We are currently seeking interns with interest in developing a career in digital marketing and communications to assist with blog content, email marketing, social media engagement, website content development, graphic design, and other forms of public outreach. An ideal candidate should be a quick learner and a digital native, with a passion for social impact.
The impact investing landscape is dynamic and growing quickly. We are currently seeking interns interested in developing a career in social impact to assist in developing a market map of relevant organizations, institutions, entities, and individuals for the purposes of research, partnership development, network expansion, and business development. An ideal candidate will have excellent research skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with the financial landscape with a focus on ESG and impact investing.
As the impact investing field develops, new and vital conversations are happening all the time. We are seeking interns interested in developing a career in social impact to assist with developing our 2019 programming slate. Responsibilities will include researching key topic areas, domain experts, and thought leaders, developing a comprehensive and cohesive programming schedule for our events, and identifying issue areas at the forefront of the field. An ideal candidate will have excellent research skills, attention to detail, familiarity with the financial landscape, and an interest in content curation. A working knowledge of the impact landscape writ large is preferred.
